Trends in Social Login & Site Engagement

If you own a website your goal is to get people to engage with it, spread the word about it, and to stay on it for as long as possible. In a recent infographic by Gigya, they show that 50% of users who login to a website through a social login tend to view double the amount of pageviews and four more minutes on a site than without a social login. They also tend to trust Facebook with their data the most, although businesses should consider multiple ways for consumers to login since nearly 40% would prefer other sites like Twitter, Google Yahoo!, etc.
