In the past, Facebook has been far from clear on how-to do certain things after they roll out revisions. However, in the case of “unfriending” or “unliking” a brand, they couldn’t be more clear.
How to Unfriend Someone in Facebook’s new Timeline.
1. Under the right corner of the Cover photo, next to “Message”, click on the down arrow. From there you can “unfriend” the person. You can also click on the “Friends” button and there is an option in that drop down too. (Thanks Kate)
If you’ve liked a brand’s page in the past and now want to “unlike” it on the New Timeline, it’s a bit hard to find because it’s right in front of your face and we’re so used to having to hunt for things on Facebook. In a nutshell, here it is:

You can also click on the button “Friends” and it will uncheck the button. Also simple!
How would I achieve this feat using facebook’s mobile site? I’ve tried all the above methods and those options don’t seem to pop up when using the mobile site :(
Hi Suzette, I don’t know of a way to unfriend using the mobile site. Unfortunately, there are many limitations on the mobile site. If I do find one, I’ll be sure to email you directly.
On my FB app for Android, you can click the FRIENDS button and select “Delete Friend”.
This is not very helpful for mobile, even the suggestions by previous commenters.

The only solution on the mobile site is to copy the person you wish to block and go to settings > privacy then click on the block section then paste the name into that.. After that just unblock and that person will be unfriend
Who cares about mobile. The above info is incorrect and needs updating. I can’t find this ‘unlike’ they speak of when you click on the message button. Thanks
