How to Unfriend and Unlike in the New Facebook Timeline

In the past, Facebook has been far from clear on how-to do certain things after they roll out revisions. However, in the case of “unfriending” or “unliking” a brand, they couldn’t be more clear.

How to Unfriend Someone in Facebook’s new Timeline.

1. Under the right corner of the Cover photo, next to “Message”, click on the down arrow. From there you can “unfriend” the person. You can also click on the “Friends” button and there is an option in that drop down too. (Thanks Kate)

 

If you’ve liked a brand’s page in the past and now want to “unlike” it on the New Timeline, it’s a bit hard to find ¬†because it’s right in front of your face and we’re so used to having to hunt for things on Facebook. In a nutshell, here it is:

2. Under the right corner of the Cover photo next to “Message” click on the down arrow. From there, you can click ‘Unlike’
