Facebook Scam: Impersonating Your Voice and Ripping Off Your Loved Ones

Last night on World News, Diane Sawyer reported a Facebook scam where the robbers target their victims based off of too much information on Facebook and posted videos. They target their victims such as grandmothers and loved ones who have wired over $100M last year alone. Check out this video from Diane Sawyer’s report last night and you may want to think twice about what you put online anywhere. And, if you are young, be sure to educate your parents and grandparents so that they don’t get ripped off.

Best thing to do: come up with a code word for true emergencies to use with your friends, family, and loved ones.
