LinkedIn is one of the best B2B social media platforms out there and what better way to show off your company than with a company page. This week LinkedIn revealed Targeted Status Updates for Company pages. Once you select the target audience from the drop down menu, it allows you to segment your audience by company size, industry, job function, seniority, geography, and whether they are employees or non-employees of a company.
Out of the 120M members on LinkedIn, 67% follow a company on LinkedIn to get industry insights, 61% follow to get company news, and 49% are attracted to the peer community. LinkedIn wants consumers to be able to receive relevant information from the companies that they follow. This is a great way for you to increase engagement and target prospects.
