What Makes A Great Social Strand Media Guest Post?

First, before you read any further I want you to know that I will continue to write for Social Strand Media. I love writing about things I am passionate about and social media is one of them.  I’m also going to be doing some free Webinars for Social Strand – coming up soon. However, in the mean time I wanted to let you know that Social Strand is now open to accepting guest-blog submissions for the remainder of the calendar year!

I know it’s hard to imagine that I’ve been writing this daily blog for two years, but it’s true! That’s over 700 blogs! And I’ve enjoyed every moment of it. Social Strand Media has been such a great experience for me to write and establish my expertise in social media.

Topics we’re interested in publishing (How-to submit)
Anything that is relevant and useful to our readers, we’re interested in. We provide a handful of ideas on the blog submission page, but seriously, we’ll entertain anything in the marketing/seo realm that is useful to our audience. To find out more about our audience and the list of topics we’re looking for, skip on over to the submissions page.
Is your company doing something great in social media?
If you think that your company is doing something awesome and would be a great case study, then submit the form and in the body tell us about it and we’ll reach out to you for a possible interview to be featured on the Social Strand Media site.

What you shouldn’t do:
In the past I’ve had great conversations with people who were excited to submit a post, but then after they submitted their post it was all about them. Guest blogging is not about you, in fact, blogging is never about you, it’s about the reader, what they want to read and what’s relevant to them.  Social Strand will give you corresponding link backs to your website, blog, Twitter, whatever you want, just don’t make a selling piece. Those submissions are deleted.
As always, thanks for reading and I hope you get inspired or have an inspiring success story to tell us!
