Welcome to social media tip Tuesday where every Tuesday I gather up my top social media tips from Twitter and re-post them here for you. I also post the top blog last week and a little history trivia. Enjoy!
Last week’s social media tips:
Always have a plan on what to post and when to which networks #smtip- Not sure what keywords to tag your blog with? Try http://find-keyword.com/ #smtip #blogchat#blogging
- Social Media tools do not provide analysis, people do. Tools just give you data to derive your analysis #smtip
- Focus on fan reach, engagement, and amplification on #Facebook rather than # of fans. #smtip
- Users are engaged thru mixed use of tablets, mobile,& PCs. Make sure your site is viewable in all. #smtip

Top blog last week:

Number 5 is really quite tricky. As social media marketers without much technical knowledge, it will be hard to control the viewability for all platforms. May I request for basic info about this? On how to tell if your article/site/posts are viewable from the surface?
Hi Jennifer – you would have to have access to someone with a tablet or smartphone to be able to test out the different browsers or platforms. I’m sorry but I don’t know of an online app where you can test this – although it’s a great idea for an online app!
