What Is Facebook’s Pages To Watch?

Facebook has been gradually rolling out a new feature to Page admins called Pages to Watch. What it allows you to do is monitor and track how the competition is doing. You can see how many total page likes that brand has, plus how many incremental Page likes that brand has received this week so far.

Tip: Not all of the Pages I manage had this feature but I was able to get the feature on all of the Pages I manage by using a Page that had the feature and then by adding all of the Pages I manage as a Page to Watch for that particular Page it automatically gave me the feature on those Pages that were on the watch list .

Myth: In a post by All Facebook some people wrote in the comments back in August that when someone adds your Page as a Page to Watch that the Page admin gets an email.  However, I just tested that on several Pages I manage for which I have email alerts set up on and I didn’t experience that at all. So it’s possible that Facebook has tweaked the functionality as they’ve been rolling it out.

Where are my Facebook Insights? Facebook Insights moved from the lower middle block in the admin panel to the top menu bar in the admin panel. But it’s all shown in the short video below. You can view this tutorial on the new Facebook Insights here.

How does it work? I thought it would be best to give you 2.5 minute video on it. But it’s super easy. Enjoy and share with your friends!
