As social media continues to evolve, we’ve noticed a strong trend in imagery resonating with audiences around the world. People read less and less these days. And as the old saying goes, ‘a picture is worth a thousand words.’ So it’s no surprise to see social networks enhancing their layout and photo sharing capabilities. Facebook just released two new features for brand Pages with regards to images.
1. You can now drag and drop images from your desktop directly into your Facebook post. This isn’t the greatest feature, but obviously one that many people wanted.
2. You can now add multiple images per post making it much more easy to tell a story through imagery.
Note: It doesn’t automatically create a photo album. The multiple images can be viewed in the Timeline like a slideshow and you can add descriptions for each one. However, the images will remain in the timeline (unless you move them to a different folder). So depending what you are uploading will depend on whether or not you create an album off the bat or if you just share a few images to tell a story or make a point. Lots of creativity to be had here like compare and contrast products or to another brand. #FoodforThought
