As you know Facebook is slowly rolling out their new Facebook Pages for brands layout (one column vs. two column). It’s very similar to your personal profile layout. However, since Facebook announced the forthcoming change, lots of marketers and business owners had questions about the new Facebook image sizes.
The cover photo (851 x 315 pixels) has not changed. The profile photo (200 x 200 pixels and scales down to 167 x 167 px). The tab (app) size is now 113 x 75 , but the old sizes convert (111 x 74 px) automatically. Photos and links have different sizes, see below.
However, you can no longer highlight a post and stretch it across two columns. When you upload an image, the width now really matters. Image posts have a max width of 504 pixels, the height seems to be flexible so that you can post a photo that is vertical or horizontal.
When you share a link from the web or from a blog post, the image resizes to a specific size of 484 x 252px.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
