Getting too much email on Google+?

Ugh, when I comment on people’s stuff who are popular, the amount of email you can get on Google+ can be too much to handle. There are 2 places you can square this away, in the email notification you get and of course in the settings.

1. To “mute” a post (this is how Google refers to it), once you get an email, click on “Mute” in the footer of the email and you will no longer receive emails on that post. Here’s what it looks like:

Once you ‘mute’ it, you’ll be presented with this:

2. Account Settings>Google+ (uncheck the boxes for ‘Comments on a post after I comment on it’ under the Posts and Mentions of my name notification settings.
