We all know that if you’re going to have a business, you should have a website. Some of us settle for any web presence and it makes graphic designers cringe. Others go for information overload and it makes consumers nuts when trying to navigate (eh’em GoDaddy anyone?). But the truth is, just like anything else you do online, your website is a representation of your brand. For example, when I go to a restaurant, I almost always judge it by aesthetics and cleanliness of the bathroom. My feeling is that if they take good care of their bathroom, chances are they will take good care in preparing my food. Now apply that to your website. If your website doesn’t look professional, or is hard to navigate, or is visually unappealing, what does that say about your brand?
